First Emirati Doctor Performs Robotic Surgery in UAE
Dr Mona Abdulaziz Kashwani, specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology at Al Qassimi Women and Children’s Hospital, has made history as the first Emirati physician to perform robotic surgery in the UAE.
Now I know what you’re thinking…The robots don’t perform the surgery themselves, but the ‘Da Vinci’ surgical system gives surgeons an advanced set of instruments to use in performing robot-assisted, minimally invasive surgery by using instruments that are guided via a console. The instrument size makes it possible for surgeons to operate through one or a few small incisions.
How incredible is that?

Australia McDonalds: Saucy Scavenger Hunt
Fast food chain McDonalds in Australia have devised a digital scavenger hunt to promote their limited-edition sauce selection consisting of four super-exclusive dips which include Cajun and Szechuan flavours, limiting each sauce to around 100 per restaurant.
Knowing that they would likely run out quickly, the fast-food chain has devised a quest so difficult that only the ‘true sauce lovers’ will be able to complete it.
The digital scavenger hunt begins on the Golden Arches website with clue number one: search for a saucy product from an iconic Australian brand that rhymes with Fudgy Juggler.
