We have come to rely on the John Lewis Christmas ad campaign for our yearly dose of the feel good factor, and this year’s offering does not disappoint. A Christmas staple up there with brussels sprouts that we just had to include
Asda
A challenger for our favourite Christmas advert of the season this year, UK supermarket chain ASDA have brought in mr Christmas himself, crooner Michael Bouble, as quality control. Gosh, he’s so talented! This tongue in cheek campaign was directed by none other than Oscar winner Taika Waititi.
Apple
Apple feature their new iPhone in a clever way, encouraging us to go and create, which we are all in favour of. The campaign has a strong Christmas message of giving, forgiveness, and goodwill to all, and does a great job of putting their product front and centre, in a way the viewer can forgive. Very clever.
Charlie’s bar
A special mention for this offering from charlie’s bar in Enniskillen, Ireland. This made for internet commercial, produced on a budget of around 4000AED, has taken the internet by storm, and holds it’s own with the big guys in terms of hitting all the right notes. See what you can do on any budget with a little creativity…
