Last week, Bournemouth University’s photography students put on their graduate exhibit at Hoxton Arches, London (UK).
The event, which we are a proud sponsor of, was a revelation of upcoming talent!
Our social media consultant Henna visited and was blown away by the commercial photography display, all of which were personal to the individual artists. It was refreshing to speak to the photographer’s about their vision and the journey throughout, which included travelling to places like Uzbekistan and our very own home, Dubai.

New Platform Connecting Youth With UAE Start-Ups
A young Emirati entrepreneur has created a platform where the youth can connect with UAE start-ups and acquire relevant entrepreneurial skills that would help them either to build their own start-ups or jumpstart their careers.
She told Gulf News her company “is a global ecosystem created to kick-start the start-up and entrepreneurial thinking of the youth. Startlings is a digital platform that brings together established start-ups and students in high school, university and post-university”.
According to our young entrepreneur : “The entire programme, which runs for eight weeks, goes hand in hand with the National Agenda for Entrepreneurship, aimed at establishing the UAE as an entrepreneurial nation by 2031.”

Pen Maker Uniball Writes New Chapter as Uni
Uniball, the writing instruments company whose portfolio of brands include Uniball, Posca and Emott, today unveiled a full rebrand, including a name change. The brand will be called Uni from now on, stylized in all lowercase letters.
Alongside its name change, the organization is undergoing a full rebrand and is launching a new omnichannel strategy to support its global growth. The company’s president Mike Parker said the brand hopes to be “a platform for creativity and connection” that will “enrich lives and unify people.”
To publicize this vision, Uni is debuting a new US campaign, developed in partnership with Media.Monks, called ‘Start Your Story.’ “The vision for this campaign is to celebrate and empower people to take control of their personal journeys,” said Parker. “If we know anything after 135 years of business success, it is that where creativity and connection exist, vitality and growth are sure to follow. We celebrate the opportunity to deliver the tools and solutions that foster this type of personal and professional flourishing.”
